About the Guest Curator Katharina Hoffmann
Based in Vienna, she’s currently working on her doctorate at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna while staying deeply involved in curating and writing about contemporary art.

Katharina Hoffmann curates the January 2025 artist round up
Katharina has already achieved so much: she curates the annual Weißer Saal exhibition at Esterházy Palace, contributes to Esterházy Now Contemporary in Eisenstadt, and in 2025 will step into her new role as manager of Kunstverein Eisenstadt.
Her curatorial projects have taken her to Vienna, Eisenstadt, Berlin, and Budapest, shaping her thoughtful and diverse approach to art.
She’s also busy with exciting projects for 2025, including co-curating the Voliere - Mikromuseum über Vögel und Menschen at Hotel Galántha and supporting the Esterházy Art Award 2025 at the Ludwig Múzeum in Budapest.

FAQ: Submission for Instagram Reel or Carousel Post
What does it cost to submit?
We ask for a small €12 service fee to help us continue discovering and promoting talented artists like you. This fee supports the creation of high-quality posts and helps sustain our vibrant art community.
What happens if I’m selected?
If selected, we’ll create an engaging Instagram Reel or Carousel Post featuring your work, complete with proper credit and a link to your Instagram profile. Story post, mention in our Newsletter and Article on Munchies Art Club
What kind of artists do you feature?
We showcase contemporary artists working in mediums such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, and more. Our platform focuses on quality, originality, and creativity.
Can I submit multiple times?
Yes! If you’re not selected this month, feel free to submit again for future calls. Every month we review new submissions and choose 15-20 artists to feature.
Do I need to upload images?
No, you don’t need to upload anything! Just share your Instagram URL, and we’ll review your work directly from your account.
How will my work be credited?
We’ll always include your Instagram handle in the post to ensure viewers can connect with you directly.
What’s the deadline for submissions?
The deadline for this open call is 3rd January 2025. Submissions received after this date will be considered for the next round.
Is the submission fee refundable?
The €12 service fee is non-refundable, as it covers the review process and the time dedicated to creating high-quality features.
